All the presets seem to have a dip at 7.5K in the treble range, and we were unable to find a way around this, even when using a custom EQ. ![]() You can check out a comparison of just our custom EQ setting and the default setting here. Update : We have run some passes using the same seating to compare how the EQ presets and our own custom EQ stack up against the default setting. ![]() We weren't able to spot a noticeable difference, and as a result, we have not changed the sound portion of our review. While you can read more about this update in the 'Noise Isolation' test, we also ran a frequency response pass to see if there were any changes to their sound. ![]() Update : Users have requested that we test these headphones on firmware update 1.2.6, which is advertised to improve Bluetooth connection stability as well as fix an issue regarding interruptions when using noise cancelling or Ambient Sound Mode.
